Conversations about college, especially about how to pay for it, can be hard. So what better way to do it than over some (maybe undercooked) chicken?

College Prep Kitchen is a series Sallie produces to help facilitate tough conversations in a fun way, and inspire viewers to do the same. 

​

We visit a high school student and their guardian in their home, and film them attempting a mystery recipe while answering college related questions. Along the way, our cooks discover topics that may require further research, connect on shared insecurities or excitements, and ultimately build a plan to tackle the complex higher-ed process.

When I joined Sallie, I had the chance to play a key role in the production of the two latest episodes of CPK. I helped cast, prep for and film the episodes, and then collaborated with another video editor for post production tasks.

I was responsible for editing and structuring several hours of raw footage to create a smooth narrative and story, as well as color correcting, some sound design, and inputting graphics to help with storytelling and humor, some of which I designed and animated myself.
